Wednesday. Jan. 27th

WOW!!!!  We have been fast at work.
In reading we are working on creating debates for our American Revolution topics.  Ask your child what side are they on...Patriots or Loyalists.
In writing we have been working on our chapters about a famous person.  Each child is reading, researching, skimming and scanning facts for the chapters.

In Math we are working on FRACTIONS and Probability!!!!  We have been exploring parts of a whole.  What is 2/3 of 21?  Your child should know....

All students MUST read at home!!  They do not get lots of homework from me because I want them reading and working on math practice.

We will be alone with Mrs. Marek  for the remaining half of year.  Mrs. Wiske will be missed...but maybe she will be subbing for us at Eagle Point!!

On Monday we will begin unit 7 in math.  We switch students around from teacher to teacher each unit to best meet the needs of our learners.  It has been successful so far and we are pleased to see that the students have responded well to each teacher.
