We wrapped up the week with a lot of "science fun!"

Yesterday, everyone demonstrated knowledge of the different phases of the moon with Oreos. They were able to describe why the different phases occur. And then they got to enjoy a little snack :)

Today, students got hands on experience learning about craters on the moons surface. All the students seemed to enjoy the demonstration, and learned visually and through hands on experience what is happening in space.

We will continue to explore space in science, work with multi-digit multiplication problems in math and wrap up our historical fiction unit in writing and reading next week.
